FOUNDER & INSTRUCTOR
Steven Gilchrist has been a lifelong fan of martial arts. “The Last Dragon” movie ignited his wonderment thanks to Bruce Leroy. “Enter the Dragon” and “Way of the Dragon” movies led him to see Bruce Lee as a martial arts genius. Little did he know that Bruce’s creativity would one day intercept his own life.
In 2013, Steven became a martial arts practitioner. He first began studying White Crane Kung Fu under Coach Anubis Q in OKC. He did fun and weird things like strikes, grabs, monkey claws, eye rakes, and being bounced off the wall for 2 years. But he learned the martial way and grew an appreciation for other arts. In 2015, Steven joined Evolution OKC to learn Jeet Kune Do. There he was taught by Sifu Joel Ledlow and some of his instructors along the way. He dabbled in Eskrima, Duo Ji Kung Fu, and others. It’s been a martial journey that didn’t stop once Steven moved to Atlanta in 2017.
And now his passion of becoming a better student has collided with teaching others the way of Jeet Kune Do. Admittedly, all of Dragon’s students help him to become a better student. In return, he gives all of them all of the great things he’s learned along the way since 2013. All of Atlanta, South Fulton, College Park and other areas will be afforded the opportunity to learn things that will not only improve their way of life, but also the art of fighting without fighting.
